And with a little more detail:
I grew up in upstate New York in Owego; a small town nestled in the hills and along a river with endless rural roads that fulfilled my early thirst for exploration. I first fell in love with sports by playing soccer, baseball, football, and swimming which led to cycling in my later years of High School. I first rode to get around, and then started doing it for fun which led to a friend taking me to a local club race, which I won, in sneakers.
I then began racing regularly the following year, racing a number of junior races, including nationals, as well as higher category races, often racing twice in one day because I wanted to race so much. I then raced for Elite Regional teams where I continued to race more NRC (National Racing Calendar) and UCI (International Cycling Union) races which led to me racing for a combined Canadian/American team where I first went to Belgium to race.
This led to me returning to live and race for an entire summer living in Flanders, Belgium, a sort of mecca for bike racing. While there I raced three to four times a week on average in local kermises (kind of like a circuit race) as well as inter-clubs which were the full on European style races. Harder and faster than anything only leaving you wanting more.
The following season I then rode for a top Domestic Elite Team in the US racing most of the National Calendar as well as the UCI America’s Tour races in North America. I had a number of stand out results including winning the Elite Criterium National Championships in Augusta, Georgia. These results led me to sign with a Continental Team out of Quebec, Canada; Ekoi.com-Gaspesien Pro Cycling Team.
With further standout results on top of my previous successes, I have gone on to sign with the newly UCI-Continental Team “Equipe Garneau-Québecor” for the 2013 season. I hope to continue building on my past success and am excited to be joining a new team where I can bring my strengths and experience but also learn and gain experience to reach the top level of the sport.

NIce pic of Owego. I had a coffee at the goat boy recently with a guy (landlord riding around town on a bike, my kind of guy) that knows you and we got chatting about you. Good luck this season.
